Keep the Light On

Support the Goonies House

A 130-year-old house takes a beating from salt air and fifty thousand Truffle Shuffles a year. If this place matters to you, chip in a doubloon: every donation goes to keeping the house standing for the next crew.

Visit the House

Built in 1896 on a bluff above the Columbia River, the house played the Walsh family home in 1985 and has been welcoming Goonies ever since. It is a real home in a real neighborhood, so a little pirate courtesy goes a long way.

Where to park

Please do not drive up the driveway. Park in the designated areas a few blocks away near John Jacob Astor Elementary or in public lots, then use the sidewalks and walk up. The neighbors thank you.

House rules

Walk up, take photos, do the Truffle Shuffle at a respectful volume. Be kind to the neighbors, pack out what you pack in, and keep the driveway clear.

Support the house

Keeping a 130-year-old movie legend standing takes doubloons. Venmo donations are welcome and appreciated: @GOONIESHOUSELLC. Questions? support@goonieshome.com.

Hunting season tip

Coins have been known to surface around town during anniversary weekends. Follow @goonieshome for announcements, then get your find on the registry before someone else claims your number.
